"...this is an easy-programming tool with which one can assemble a musical experiment without using anything else than a MIDI device..."

Since half a year ago, I have been using EventIDE in a music-learning task with a MIDI-keyboard. When I started to design this experiment, I found no other program that allows one to register the output for a MIDI device at the same time of stimuli presentation. As far as I know, this is the only program that allows one to present visual and auditory stimuli, in the same experimental task in which one can demand a subject to play some notes or a melody on a MIDI device, without using another intermediate devices (as a "parallel port").

Moreover, EventIDE registers information regarding a great amount of variables as name of the note of the pressed key, duration of the key press, or the moment in which the subject started to press the key, among others. Those are really important parameters when one is measuring the musical performance of a subject. I am very happy of this colaboration with Okazolab because after some test-trials and initial adjusts, and thanks to the kind help, dedication and support of the developer, I have been able to do my experiment.

As a conclusion, this is an easy-programming tool with which one can assemble a musical experiment without using anything else than a MIDI device (with an USB-MIDI port) and the PC.
