At this time I have used EventIDE for one year. After a short period of using this program I found that the process of creating experiments is really easy as it only requires basic programming skills (or doesn't require any at all). The program is very complex and I haven't even explored the full range of functions. The main reason to start using EventIDE for me was the possibility to synchronize the hardware; an eye-tracking system and the portable encephalograph. But now I use EventIDE for wide range of experiments. These include short students practice, pilot testing of new paradigms and their full realizations. I highly appreciate the stability of system, the timing precision and support of the developer. These features all helped me a lot during the testing period. As a result, we have a powerful system which allows us to use different paradigms of an experiment. This makes pilot periods shorter and stimulus combinations more effective. Experiments are also unificated and stable. I would recommend EventIDE for the vast majority of psycological and physiological testing tasks.
